Terms of Service

Craze Technologies, Inc. Last updated: October 5, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Craze Technologies, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Craze", "we", "our", or "us"). They govern your use of our website at craze.ai, the Craze video studio, shared video pages, the Craze MCP server, and any other service that links to these Terms (together, the "Service").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

If you use the Service for a company or other organization, you agree to these Terms on its behalf and confirm that you have authority to do so. In that case, "you" means both you and that organization.

PLEASE READ SECTION 18 CAREFULLY. IT REQUIRES YOU AND CRAZE TO RESOLVE MOST DISPUTES THROUGH BINDING INDIVIDUAL ARBITRATION, NOT IN COURT, AND WAIVES YOUR RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND TO TAKE PART IN A CLASS ACTION. YOU CAN OPT OUT WITHIN 30 DAYS AS EXPLAINED IN SECTION 18.

1. Who can use Craze

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You may not use the Service if you are barred from doing so under U.S. law, or if you are located in a country subject to U.S. embargo or on a U.S. government list of restricted parties.

2. Accounts and workspaces

You need an account to use most of the Service. You agree to:

  • give accurate information and keep it up to date
  • keep your sign-in credentials secure and not share your account
  • tell us right away at team@crazehq.com if you think someone has accessed your account without permission

You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.

Each person may have one account for free use of the Service. Don't create extra accounts to get more free usage.

Every account belongs to a workspace. Your plan, credits, and storage belong to the workspace. Workspace admins manage billing, plans, and auto-reload. If you join a workspace that another person or organization manages, its admins control its billing and membership.

3. The Service

Craze helps you plan, generate, and edit video. The Service includes an AI agent that works on your projects, a timeline editor, media generation using AI models from third-party providers, exports, share links, and connections for other AI apps.

The Service is intended for businesses and independent professionals. We may add, change, remove, or discontinue the Service, its features, available AI models, usage limits, and rates for future usage without a fixed advance notice period, subject to applicable law and any separate agreement. Models available to you depend on your plan. Some features may be labeled beta, preview, or experimental. Those features may not work reliably, and we provide them as-is.

4. Your content

Inputs and outputs

"Inputs" are what you put into the Service, such as prompts, chat messages, uploaded files, voice samples, and links. "Outputs" are what the Service creates for you, such as images, video, audio, voices, captions, edits, and exported videos. Inputs and Outputs together are "Your Content".

Who owns it

You keep all rights you have in your Inputs. As between you and Craze, you own your Outputs to the extent permitted by applicable law, and we assign to you any rights we have in them. You may use Outputs commercially on any plan, including Free, subject to applicable law and any disclosed third-party asset or provider restrictions. Keep in mind that:

  • AI models may produce similar or identical Outputs for other users, and you have no rights in their Outputs.
  • Copyright law may not protect material created by AI, and we can't promise that any Output can be protected or registered.
  • Third-party material in an Output, such as a brand logo, font, or asset from our creative library, still belongs to its owner. See section 11.

The rights you give us

You give Craze a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process, transmit, display, and modify Your Content as needed to operate, support, secure, and improve the Service, and to comply with law. This includes allowing our service providers to process Your Content for these purposes and making content available as you direct.

We may use prompts, reference media, and other content you submit for AI generation to develop, train, fine-tune, and improve Craze's AI models. This applies to Free and paid accounts, but excludes files merely uploaded or stored in a project and not submitted for AI generation. Any such use is subject to applicable law, required consent, and any separate agreement we have with you. You grant us the license necessary for these uses, subject to those conditions.

We will not publish your private Inputs or use Your Content in marketing, showcases, testimonials, or public model demonstrations without your permission. Creating a public share link does not give us that permission.

The service-operation license ends when you delete Your Content, except for copies retained as described in our Privacy Policy and copies already shared with others. Deletion does not automatically undo prior lawful training or remove its effects from an existing model, subject to applicable law and any separate agreement.

Your responsibility for Your Content

You are responsible for Your Content and how you use it. You confirm that you have all the rights, licenses, and permissions needed to use your Inputs with the Service, and that your Inputs and your use of Outputs don't violate any law or anyone's rights.

5. People in your content

Craze can create and change images, video, and audio of real people. Using someone's face, voice, or identity carries legal and ethical responsibilities.

  • Rights and permissions. You must ensure that Your Content and your use of the Service comply with applicable law, and obtain any rights, licenses, permissions, and consents required for that use. This includes any required consent for using faces, voices, likenesses, or information about minors, and any written consent required by applicable law.
  • No sexual exploitation of minors. You may not request, create, upload, or share content that sexually exploits or sexualizes anyone under 18, or anyone depicted as being under 18. This includes content depicting real people or fictional characters, whether authentic, edited, illustrated, animated, or AI-generated. Consent does not permit content prohibited by this rule.
  • No deceptive or unlawful impersonation. Do not use a person's likeness or voice to falsely suggest an endorsement, commit fraud, or otherwise violate their rights. Lawful commentary, criticism, parody, satire, news, and artistic expression remain subject to these Terms, applicable law, and provider restrictions.
  • Disclose AI content. Label realistic AI-generated or altered depictions of real people or events where the law or the platform where you publish requires it, including in political and election content and in ads.

6. Acceptable use

You may not request, create, upload, or share intimate or sexualized depictions of an identifiable real person without that person's affirmative, informed, and freely given consent to the specific use. This prohibition applies to authentic, edited, face-swapped, and AI-generated content, including fabricated nudity or sexual activity.

Consent to use someone's photo, likeness, or voice does not establish consent to create an intimate or sexualized depiction. Consent to create a depiction does not establish consent to share it. A person's public status, publicly available images, or a claim of parody, satire, or artistic expression does not substitute for consent.

You may not use intimate or sexualized content, or threats to create or disclose it, to intimidate, coerce, blackmail, or extort anyone. This applies even if the person previously consented to the creation or sharing of the content.

You may not use the Service to request, create, upload, or share Content that:

  • is pornographic or otherwise designed for sexual gratification
  • promotes, facilitates, or solicits sexual exploitation, sexual abuse, or sex trafficking of any person, including through force, fraud, or coercion
  • sexually exploits or endangers children. We report apparent child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children
  • harasses, threatens, bullies, or defames anyone
  • threatens physical harm against a real person or group of people, or encourages, incites, or facilitates violence against them
  • promotes or facilitates terrorism
  • promotes hatred against people based on protected characteristics
  • impersonates any person or organization to deceive, defraud, or mislead
  • is designed to mislead people about elections, voting, or public safety
  • infringes anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights
  • contains malware or is otherwise illegal

You also may not:

  • break the law or help anyone else break it
  • try to get around safety filters, content restrictions, usage limits, or billing
  • use the agent to access websites or systems you aren't authorized to access, or to collect personal information unlawfully
  • send spam or unsolicited messages
  • interfere with or overload the Service, or try to break its security
  • copy, reverse engineer, or extract the Service's source code, except as the law allows
  • scrape the Service, resell it, or use it to build a competing product
  • create multiple accounts to get more free usage

The AI providers whose models run in Craze have their own usage policies, and those policies also apply to your use of their models. A provider may refuse a request, and we may block requests that break these Terms or a provider's policies.

We may remove Content, limit features, or suspend or close accounts that break these rules. We may report illegal activity to law enforcement.

To report Content that breaks these rules, email team@crazehq.com with a link to the Content and a description of the problem. If you report an intimate image of yourself, or of someone you are authorized to act for, that was shared without consent, identify the Content and its location. We handle removal requests in accordance with applicable law.

7. AI outputs and agent actions

AI makes mistakes. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, offensive, or similar to existing works. Review Outputs before you rely on them or publish them. Outputs are not professional advice.

The Craze agent acts on your instructions. Depending on your request, it may plan, write scripts, run code in a computing environment that's isolated to your project, search the web, read web pages, generate media, and edit your projects. You are responsible for the instructions you give and for how you use the results.

If you use Outputs in ads or other commercial content, you are responsible for making sure their claims are truthful and that you follow advertising laws, including rules on endorsements and disclosures.

8. Connected AI apps

You can connect third-party AI apps, such as ChatGPT or Claude, to your Craze account through our MCP server. When you do:

  • You authorize the app to read or edit your projects, based on the permissions you grant, and to use your credits.
  • You are responsible for what the app does with that access.
  • The app needs a workspace admin's confirmation to change your plan or buy credits, and payment goes through our checkout.
  • The app's own terms and privacy policy govern how it handles your data.

You can disconnect an app at any time from your Connections settings.

9. Sharing content

You are responsible for deciding what Content to share and for having the rights and permissions required to share it. Sharing Content does not give Craze permission to use it in marketing or public demonstrations.

We reserve the right to remove or restrict public access to Content shared through the Service, including pornography, graphic sexual content, graphic violence, or other content we reasonably determine is unsuitable for public distribution through the Service.

10. Plans, credits, and payment

Plans

We offer a Free plan and paid monthly subscription plans. Our pricing page and the Service describe each plan's price, included credits, storage, and features.

Credits

Credits pay for usage. You spend credits when the agent works, when you generate or transcribe media, when the agent uses web tools, when you render exports, and while your project's computing environment runs. The cost of an action depends on the model you use and how much work it takes. We show pricing or estimates in the Service and may change rates for future usage.

  • Credits included with a paid plan reset at the start of each billing period. Unused plan credits do not roll over.
  • Credits you buy as a top-up expire 365 days after purchase.
  • Promotional credits may come with their own conditions and may expire.
  • Credits included with a paid plan can be used only while you're on a paid plan.
  • Credits are not money. They have no cash value, and you can't transfer, sell, or redeem them for cash.

When a workspace runs out of credits, work in progress stops until credits are available. On the Free plan, the workspace becomes read-only until usage renews or you buy credits.

Free plan

The Free plan is available only in certain countries and comes with usage limits and restrictions, such as lower export quality and fewer models. We may change its limits, eligibility, and features, or end the Free plan, at any time.

Automatic renewal

PAID PLANS RENEW AUTOMATICALLY EACH MONTH UNTIL YOU CANCEL. By subscribing, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge your payment method the then-current plan price, plus applicable taxes, at the start of each monthly billing period.

You can cancel at any time from the billing settings in the Service. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Your plan, credits, and features continue until then, and your workspace then moves to the Free plan.

Upgrades and downgrades

When you upgrade, the new plan starts immediately, a new billing period begins, and you receive the new plan's full credits. We charge the new plan's price minus a credit for the unused plan allowance from your current period. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.

Auto-reload

A workspace admin may turn on auto-reload. When your credit balance falls below the threshold you set, you authorize us to charge your saved payment method for the reload amount you chose, without asking you each time. If your balance is already below the threshold when you turn it on, we charge right away. We limit the number of reloads per month. You can turn auto-reload off at any time.

Payment, taxes, and price changes

Stripe processes payments for us. You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees you incur. Prices don't include taxes unless we say so, and you are responsible for applicable taxes.

We may change our prices. Changes to existing subscriptions take effect at a future renewal. We will provide any notice required by applicable law.

If a payment fails, our payment processor may retry the charge. Until the balance is paid, we may stop new generation, exports, uploads, and agent work, subject to applicable law.

Refunds

All payments are non-refundable, except where the law requires otherwise. We don't refund partial billing periods, unused credits, or expired credits.

On paid plans, we don't charge credits for a generation that fails because of a technical error on our side or our provider's. Requests rejected for violating these Terms or a provider's policies do not qualify for that protection merely because they were rejected. We may issue refunds or credits at our discretion. If you think we charged you in error, contact us before disputing the charge with your bank.

Storage

Each plan has a storage limit. If your workspace is over its limit, for example after a downgrade, you can still view, download, and delete files, but you can't add new ones until you're under the limit.

11. Our intellectual property

Craze and its licensors own the Service, including its software, design, and our creative library. Subject to these Terms, we give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service.

You may not use Craze's name, logos, or other branding in a way that falsely suggests that we sponsor, endorse, or approve your Content or activities.

Our creative library includes sound effects, transitions, and other assets. You may use library assets as part of videos you make with the Service, following any attribution or license terms shown with an asset. You may not redistribute library assets on their own.

The agent can add third-party brand logos and fonts to your projects. Logos and trademarks belong to their owners. Using them in Craze does not give you any right to use them, and you are responsible for using them lawfully.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without restriction or payment to you.

12. Copyright complaints

To report Content you believe infringes your copyright, email team@crazehq.com with a description of the copyrighted work, the reported Content and its location, your contact information, and the basis for your report.

We review infringement reports and may remove Content or suspend or close accounts, subject to applicable law. If you believe Content was removed in error, contact us at the same address.

13. Third-party services

The Service relies on and links to third-party services, including AI model providers, payment processors, and AI apps you connect. We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms.

14. Suspension and termination

You can stop using the Service at any time. To close your account, cancel any paid plan and email team@crazehq.com.

We may suspend or close your account, or limit your access, if you break these Terms, fail to pay, create risk or legal exposure for Craze or others, or if the law requires it. We may provide notice or an opportunity to retrieve Your Content where appropriate, but do not guarantee advance notice or a retrieval period, except as required by applicable law.

When your account closes, your right to use the Service ends, and we may delete Your Content. Sections 4, 10 (for amounts owed), and 11 through 22 survive termination.

15. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE AND ALL OUTPUTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, CRAZE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT PROMISE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, THAT OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE, UNIQUE, OR FIT FOR YOUR PURPOSE, OR THAT YOUR CONTENT WILL NOT BE LOST. KEEP YOUR OWN COPIES OF IMPORTANT CONTENT.

16. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, CRAZE AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS, EVEN IF WE WERE TOLD THEY WERE POSSIBLE.

CRAZE'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED US $50 IN THE AGGREGATE. MULTIPLE CLAIMS DO NOT INCREASE THIS LIMIT.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law. These exclusions and limits apply only to the fullest extent permitted by the law applicable to you.

17. Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Craze and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from third-party claims, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from Your Content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms or anyone's rights. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim arises from Craze's own wrongdoing and applies only to the extent permitted by law.

18. Dispute resolution and arbitration

Try to resolve it first

Before starting arbitration or a lawsuit, you and Craze agree to try to resolve any dispute informally. Send a written notice describing the dispute and the relief you want. Send yours to team@crazehq.com. We will send ours to the email address on your account. If we can't resolve the dispute within 60 days, either of us may start arbitration.

Binding arbitration

Except as stated below, you and Craze agree to resolve any dispute arising from or related to these Terms or the Service through final and binding individual arbitration. The American Arbitration Association ("AAA") will administer the arbitration under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, or under its Commercial Arbitration Rules if you use the Service for a business. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section.

The arbitration will take place in the county where you live or by video, unless we both agree otherwise. Payment of filing and arbitrator fees will follow the AAA's rules. The arbitrator may award the same individual relief a court could.

Exceptions

Either of us may bring an individual claim in small claims court. Either of us may also ask a court to stop infringement or misuse of intellectual property.

No class actions or jury trials

YOU AND CRAZE MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST EACH OTHER ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS, NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY CLASS, COLLECTIVE, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. YOU AND CRAZE WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL.

If a court decides that the class action waiver is unenforceable for a claim, that claim must proceed in court and not in arbitration. The rest of this section still applies.

Opting out

You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing team@crazehq.com within 30 days after you first accept these Terms. Include your name, your account email address, and a statement that you opt out of arbitration. Opting out does not affect the rest of these Terms.

Changes to this section

If we change this section, we will provide any notice or obtain any consent required by applicable law. A change will not apply to a dispute that you or we notified the other about before the change took effect.

19. Governing law and venue

Delaware law governs these Terms, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except that the Federal Arbitration Act governs section 18. Any claim that is not arbitrated will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you and Craze consent to their jurisdiction.

20. Export controls

You agree to follow U.S. export control and sanctions laws. Don't use the Service in, or export Content to, a country or person those laws prohibit.

21. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top. We will provide any notice or obtain any consent required by applicable law. Except where applicable law requires otherwise, continuing to use the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you don't agree, stop using the Service and cancel your plan.

22. General terms

  • Entire agreement. These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Craze about the Service. If you have a separate signed agreement with Craze, that agreement controls where it conflicts with these Terms.
  • Assignment. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent. We may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
  • Severability. If a court finds any part of these Terms unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
  • No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
  • Force majeure. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including outages at our providers.
  • Electronic communications. You agree to receive notices and other communications from us electronically, by email or in the Service.
  • No third-party beneficiaries. These Terms do not give rights to anyone other than you and Craze.

23. Processing personal data for customers

This section applies only where we process personal data in Your Content on behalf of you or your organization and applicable data protection law requires a controller-processor agreement. That data is "Covered Data". You are the controller, or a processor authorized by your controller, and Craze is your processor or sub-processor. This section forms part of our agreement and controls over conflicting provisions of these Terms for Covered Data. A separate signed data-processing agreement controls where it conflicts with this section. Information we process as a controller for our own purposes is addressed in our Privacy Policy.

  • Scope and instructions. We process Covered Data to provide the Service during your use of it and until the data is returned or deleted as described below. Processing includes storing, organizing, transmitting, generating, editing, exporting, and deleting content. Covered Data may include names, contact details, images, voices, and other personal data you submit about your staff, customers, contractors, or others appearing in your content. You determine the content and people involved. We process it only on your documented instructions, including these Terms, your settings, and your requests through the Service, unless law requires otherwise. If law requires other processing, we will inform you before processing unless prohibited by law. We will tell you if we believe an instruction infringes applicable EU or UK data protection law. The licenses in section 4 do not authorize processing Covered Data contrary to these instructions or applicable law.
  • Your responsibilities. You are responsible for the lawfulness of your instructions, the personal data you provide, required notices and lawful bases, and your obligations as controller. You may give lawful instructions and exercise your rights under this section through the Service or by contacting team@crazehq.com.
  • Confidentiality and security. We will ensure people authorized to process Covered Data are subject to confidentiality obligations. We will maintain appropriate technical and organizational security measures as required by applicable law, taking account of the nature of the processing and its risks.
  • Providers. You give general written authorization for us to engage sub-processors to provide the Service. We will provide their identities, functions, and processing locations on request and notify you of intended additions or replacements in advance, giving you an opportunity to object on reasonable data-protection grounds before the change. We will impose equivalent required data-protection obligations on sub-processors and remain responsible for their performance of those obligations. If we cannot resolve an objection, you may stop using the affected feature or terminate the affected Service, subject to any rights required by law.
  • Requests and assistance. Taking account of the nature of processing and information available to us, we will provide the assistance required by applicable law for individual rights requests, security, breach notifications, data protection impact assessments, and consultations with supervisory authorities. We will direct requests about Covered Data to you where appropriate and will not respond on your behalf unless you instruct us or law requires it.
  • Personal data breaches. We will notify you without undue delay after becoming aware of a personal data breach affecting Covered Data, provide available information needed for your legal obligations, and cooperate in addressing it. Information may be provided in stages as it becomes available.
  • Return and deletion. When the applicable Service ends, we will, at your choice, return or delete Covered Data and delete existing copies unless law requires retention. Backup copies may remain until the applicable deletion cycle where permitted by law, protected and put beyond further use except where legally required.
  • Compliance information. We will make available information necessary to demonstrate compliance with these processing obligations and allow and contribute to audits and inspections by you or your authorized auditor. Audits are subject to reasonable confidentiality, security, scope, and scheduling arrangements that do not prevent legally required access.
  • International processing. You instruct us to process Covered Data in the countries where we and our providers operate to provide the Service. We will make transfers only as permitted by applicable data protection law and put required transfer safeguards in place before a restricted transfer. This section does not itself constitute EU Standard Contractual Clauses or a UK international data transfer agreement.
