Connect Craze to ChatGPT

Requires ChatGPT Developer mode and access to custom MCP apps. Availability can depend on your account and workspace policy.

  1. Enable Developer mode

    In ChatGPT, open Settings → Security and login and turn on Developer mode.

  2. Add Craze

    Go to ChatGPT Plugins and select +, then create a developer-mode app for your remote MCP server.

    Enter a name and a description. Under Connection, paste the Craze MCP URL and set authentication to OAuth.

    Leave client credentials blank. Craze advertises Client ID Metadata Documents, and ChatGPT uses them when the authorization server supports it.

  3. Authorize Craze

    Create the connection and complete Craze sign-in. The app appears under Drafts, where you can review its tools before using it.

    In a new conversation, choose + → Developer mode and turn Craze on.

  4. Verify the connection

    Ask ChatGPT to run this exact prompt.

    Call only Craze's `connection` tool with `{}`. Report the returned `active` value. Do not call any other tools.

    This check is read-only and does not start a generation.

Connecting Craze authorizes the agent to access and edit projects and use your workspace’s normal Craze credits. The verification check above is read-only.
