Question 1

What is Craze?

Accepted Answer

Craze is an AI video maker that plans, generates and edits video in one place. It covers pre-production, generative production and a post-production timeline editor, so an idea reaches a finished cut without moving between tools.

Question 2

How does an AI video editor work?

Accepted Answer

It reads your footage and your direction, then assembles a cut for you to approve or change. In Craze you give notes the way you would to an editor, and it handles execution: choosing takes, sequencing beats, adding titles and captions. The timeline stays open if you want to adjust anything by hand.

Question 3

Do I need video editing experience to use Craze?

Accepted Answer

No. Craze is built around direction rather than software skill, so you make the creative calls and it handles the execution. If you already edit, the timeline will feel familiar and you can take over at any point.

Question 4

Can I use my own footage in Craze?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Upload your own clips, generate the shots you are missing, or mix both on the same timeline.

Question 5

What can Craze generate?

Accepted Answer

Video, audio, music and motion graphics. You can generate a shot you did not film, score it, and add titles without leaving the editor.

Question 6

Is there a free version of Craze?

Accepted Answer

Eligible accounts in supported regions can use Craze for free. Pro is $19/month, Ultra is $59/month, and Max is $199/month. Each paid plan includes matching monthly usage. Top-ups are available on every plan, including Free.

Question 7

What formats can I export from Craze?

Accepted Answer

MP4 and WebM for video, MP3 for audio, and an XML timeline for Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve. The video exports are ready to post as they are, and the XML opens your cut in either editor with the edit intact if you want to finish it elsewhere.
